9/4/2020 Update Hello Four Winds High School Students, Parents and Guardians: Thank you for assistance in getting the student devices disbursed and assessments completed. Everyone should have had the opportunity ensure they have sufficient internet access to complete their assignments when you are needed to distance learn. ***If you have not been able to connect for distance learning (no or poor internet connection) please contact the school so we can assist in taking care of this issue. We are working with the local Employment and Training Office to secure internet connection for students who don’t have it. Just to confirm with the 9/3/2020 updated state color coding and Benson County’s color phase to Yellow, we will be moving forward with the planned Hybrid Learning. You have previously received notices from the school regarding the schedule for Hybrid Learning, so just to confirm the A-B schedule: Group A includes: Devils Lake, Hwy 20, Tokio, Woodlake and St. Michael areas Group B includes: Crow Hill, Oberon, and Fort Totten areas Monday & Tuesday Group A will be scheduled to attend face-to-face. And the rest of the week will be distance learning. Wednesday everyone will be distance learning. Thursday & Friday Group B will be schedule to attend Face-to-face and the rest of the week will be distance learning. Buses will be running for both am and pm routes starting on September 8, 2020. Schedule for week of September 7th -11th Monday Sept 7th No School (Labor Day) Tuesday Sept 8th Group A Face-to face Wednesday Sept 9th All students Distance Learning Thursday Sept 10th Group B face-to-face Friday Sept 11th No School (scheduled off for UTTC Pow Wow)

The FORT TOTTEN PUBLIC School Board invites the public to participate in a school demographic planning meeting to fulfill requirements under NDCC 15.1-07-26. This open public meeting will be held on JUNE 3, 2020 at 10:30AM AND VIA ZOOM MEETING ID 886 0030 5446. At this forum, the school board will discuss and receive public input on how three- and five-year demographics may impact academic and extracurricular programs, instructional and administrative staffing, facility needs and utilization, district tax levies, and the district’s strategic plan.
