NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINE
REGULAR ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that the deadline for filing to have a candidate’s name printed on the ballot for the Fort Totten Public School Board is April 8, 2024 by 4:00 p.m.
The following school district offices are up for election:
TWO (2)--School Board Members 3 Year At-Large
A candidate for a school district office must prepare and sign a document stating the candidate’s name and the position for which the individual is a candidate, and Statement of Interests form (SFN 10172). Both of these documents must be filed with the Fort Totten Public School District Business Manager by the above deadline date and time. All forms are available from the Business Manager, www.bit.ly/3MZbwYa, or may be obtained on the ND Secretary of State’s website

The school is currently in lockdown, and we will not be releasing students early. If you would like to pick up your children, please call the school. Students will be brought to the front entrance for pickup. If your child rides bus #2, please call the school to arrange alternate transportation. Additionally, all after-school activities have been canceled.

1. 3.1 The percentage of students exiting 9th grade with a 4 year rolling plan will increase form 13% in June 2023 to 85% in June 2028.
2. 3.2 The percentage of students Military Ready and measured by ASVAB will increase from 11% in June 2023 to 50% in June 2028.
