Re: 2020-2021 School Year
Starting August 19, students will be brought into the building in small groups to learn how to use their device and take their mandated testing directed by the state. This will take approximately two weeks.
Once everyone has received their device, the school will work with the governor’s recommendations, the local health department, and the Tribal Council to decide if school will be face-to-face, hybrid (2 days at school and 3 days distant learning), or distant learning only.
Parents and guardians can choose to do distant learning only. If you choose this option, you will need to let the school know by MONDAY, AUGUST 17. All distant learning will be on-line only. There will NOT be paper packets. Distant learners will still need to come into the school to get their device and take the mandated testing. They will be distant until October 21. At that time, you can choose to continue distant learning, or return to school.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INTERNET IN YOUR HOME, PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL ASAP! WE NEED YOUR PHYSICAL ADDRESS (WHERE YOU LIVE).
